Cox nabbed in Illinois

A man wanted for allegedly setting his girlfriend’s home on fire while her son was home sleeping has been arrested in Peoria, Ill.

Fulton County Sheriff Walter Dillinger said Joshua Cox, 27, of Mammoth Spring fled to Illinois after the incident at the home of his girlfriend, Denise Pawloski, March 17.

Dillinger said Cox went to his father’s home in Illinois after he fled the scene of the fire. He said Cox’s father told him to leave the property and called Peoria law enforcement.

Sgt. Steve Dearing, of the Peoria County Sheriffs Office said Cox was arrested March 22 at 9 a.m. at the Caterpillar plant in Mossville, Ill.
