Times have changed since the first Relay for Life in 1985. Back then, there was no World Wide Web, cellphones were prohibitively expensive for most people and the majority of people still relied on broadcast radio and TV.
Now, with the millennial generation growing up and becoming larger than the baby boomer generation, the landscape of America has changed and so has the way Relay For Life has to approach fundraising.
Despite the changes, Relay For Life still pursues its key mission: passing on hope.
