Bill Davis talks about trucking, racing, farming to Rotary

Starting your own business is a journey that doesn’t always follow a straight path.

That was the message that Bill Davis, 66, owner of Bill Davis Trucking, told the Batesville Rotary Club at its Monday meeting in Kelley Wyatt’s Restaurant.

Davis was the special guest speaker and he touched on several subjects from his being born to an Arkansas Razorback player in Fayetteville to working with Mark Martin to operating the third-largest Brangus cattle farm in the U.S.

Born in Fayetteville, Davis grew up and attended school in Little Rock. His father would work in the trucking business, rising to a leadership position at Peterbilt.
