ASH FLAT — For emergency medical technicians in Sharp County, the geography can be a challenge. Sharp County is 606 square miles. It’s approximately 55 miles from the south end at Cave City to the north end at the Missouri state line. From east to west, the longest distance is approximately 35 miles.
