Cave City has a new mayor and his face is familiar to many around the community.

Now-former councilman Jonas Anderson, 34, was elected mayor by a vote of 6-0 by the Cave City Council on Tuesday night during its monthly meeting. He takes the place of Ron Burge, who resigned earlier this month.
